Others have found this program an excellent preparation for post-secondary technical studies in electronics technology and engineering. .....This program also provides students with computer skills needed to suceed with changing technology. From assembling the hardware to installing the software, basic skills needed to operate and repair computers are emphaszied. With the ever changing electronic communication field, you will learn basic telephone operation to NT networking applications.
	All activities are supported by laboratory circuit construction and analysis. Problems are "tracked down" to the component level for repair and replacement. Students will aslo have the opportunity to work on customer equipment such as VCRs, stereos, computers, boom boxes and CD players. .....Emphasis is place on using state of the art equipment. In addition to skills relating to computers and electronics, other skills are stressed. The development of a good work ethic, scheduling, time management, punctality, interpersonal and communication skills are all emphasized as traits that are in demand by employees.
