School Improvement Services provide professional development and other classroom support services to our component school districts in the areas of professional development, curriculum development and instructional design, instructional strategies and school planning/organization. We collaborate with the districts to build expertise that will result in increased student achievement and organizational and systemic change. We apply best practices in connecting research, curriculum development, instruction and assessment to classroom practice.

• Professional development in research-based instructional models (Brain-Based Learning, Cooperative Learning, Differentiated Instruction, questioning strategies, and other pedagogical practices designed to infuse more rigor and relevance into classroom instruction)
• Curriculum mapping, alignment and development
• Professional development for administrative leadership
• Coordination of communication and information sharing among regional groups (content group meetings, BOCES ListServ)
