Genesee Valley BOCES School of Practical Nursing Program
The Genesee Valley BOCES School of Practical Nursing Program is a 1200-clock-hour program, certified by the New York State Education Department, and is designed to prepare graduates for the NCLEX-PN Examination for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Applicants may review the application information on this site and request any additional information from the Nursing Department.
We are very proud of our successful job placement rate! The LPN Program has a 98 percent job placement rate after passing the NCLEX exam.
We do weekly entrance exam testing (ATI TEAS test) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You test on your home computer with a microphone and a camera. This test is monitored by ATI.
Our upcoming LPN classes are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Fridays are reserved for lab, remediation, and clinical overflow when needed. Clinical times may vary with either day or evening hours.
We are currently accepting applications for our Batavia class which starts in October 2024.
