1. Connect to the BOCES Guest network and accept the security agreement.

2. Go to gvboces.org > About Us > SSL Certificates OR gvboces.org >Resources > SSL Certificates

3. Click on the iboss.edutech.org certificate to download it.

4. Open the Chrome browser and click on the 3 dots in the upper right then go to Settings, or just go into settings if you are using a Chromebook.

5. Scroll to where it says safety and security and then click security.

6. In the Advanced section click on Manage Certificates.

7. Click import, next, and then browse in the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities tab.

8. Go to your downloads folder and find the downloaded certificate.

9. Click on place all certificates in the following store and make sure it is in the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities section.

10. Click finish and the certificate has been successfully installed.

1. Go to gvboces.org > About Us > SSL Certificates OR gvboces.org > Resources > SSL Certificates and download the iBoss.edutech.org Certificate

2. Tap on "Allow" and then "Close" if you get a pop up.

3. Tap on "Settings."

4. Tap on "VPN & Device Management."

5. Tap on where it says "iboss.edutech.org" below Downloaded Profile.

6. Tap "install" and enter your passcode.

7. Click "install" if you get a pop-up.

8. Your screen should say "Profile Installed" and "verified" will be green and checked.

9. Click done and use your device as you normally would.

1. Click the iboss.edutech.org certificate below to download.

2. Right click on the certificate and select open in KeyChain.

3. Click the dropdown and change login to system.

4. Click add.

5. Right click on the certificate and click “show info” then make sure to always trust.

6. Enter the admin password.

7. The certificate should have a green plus when everything is done correctly.

8. If there is a red dot repeat steps 5 - 8 after restarting your device.

(Firefox does not use the same certificate store location as IE & Chrome.)

1. Click on the iboss.edutech.org certificate below and download to your device.

2. Open the Firefox Tools menu and select Options > Advanced > Certificates

3. Click View certificates.

4. In the Certificate Manager window, switch to the Authorities tab.

5. Click Import > Browse & Open. Select all check-boxes and save.
