Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers timely and professional help when you need it. The service is free to staff and their family members.
When you need it most
People reach out to EAP for a wide variety of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, work stress, caregiver stress, bereavement, marriage problems, or parenting struggles.
What is included in the EAP benefit?
You have up to three free visits with the Employee Assistance Counselor, who will provide an initial assessment of your needs and referrals to ongoing services if needed. The EAP Coordinator is also available by phone to discuss your unique situation and help find resources in your community

EAP is Confidential
The EAP benefit is completely private - your employer never has to identify the information. Superintendents are only given an annual report on the number of staff members who use the service. The only exception to confidentiality is if the therapist has safety concerns for you or someone else and must follow standard protocols. Nonetheless, your employer is not notified.
