Early College HS

The Early College High School at Byron-Bergen Central School will open its doors to the community on Wednesday, September 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for an evening of exploration, learning, and connection. The event is open to the public, welcoming anyone interested in learning more about this innovative program.

The Early College High School program provides students with the opportunity to earn both their high school diploma and college credits simultaneously. Designed to prepare young learners for success in higher education and beyond, the program emphasizes academic rigor, career readiness, and strong support systems. Families, prospective students, and community members will have the chance to meet with faculty, tour classrooms, and hear directly from current students about their experiences.

“This open house is an excellent opportunity for families and community members to see how Early College High School is shaping the future of education in our region,” said Catherine Bennett, Principal of Early College High School. “We are proud to offer students a head start on their college journey while providing a supportive and engaging learning environment.”

Local media outlets are warmly invited to cover the event. Interviews with students, teachers, and administrators will be available upon request.

**Food trucks will be on the Byron Bergen Campus that night as well.
