The Open House will give studenBERGEN, N.Y. — Genesee Valley BOCES Early College High School will welcome students and families to an Open House on Tuesday, September 1, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Byron-Bergen Central School.

ts and families an opportunity to become familiar with Early College High School and prepare for the start of the new school year. Attendees can meet teachers and staff, tour the facility and learn more about the college pathways available through the program.

Families will also have the opportunity to learn more about academics, expectations and ways they can support their child throughout the school year. Course syllabi, student schedules and calendars will be available during the event.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the evening to get settled before the first day of school. They will be able to set up their lockers and drop off school supplies while becoming more comfortable with the building and staff.

Food trucks will also be on campus as part of the Byron-Bergen Open House, with food available for purchase.

The Early College High School Open House is designed to help students and families begin the year feeling informed, prepared and connected to the school community.
